University is still occupying much of my time. I see difficulties in completing this entire web site before the end of 2005.

University is taking much of my time. However, I will try to make an update of the gallery before the end of this week.

University has started, and so I'll continue studying the Multimedia Engineering Programme at the University of Lund, Sweden. Updates of this website will be less frequent. However, I will try hard to update it as often as I can.

I have changed the "bottom" of page, which will enable you to search all the pages Google has indexed on Nova Celestia.

I have added a page to the space art gallery where you can see the entire gallery of Nova Celestia. It is meant for easier access of my artwork and illustrations, particularly if you wish to use any of my images on.

I have decided to work with the binary starsystems page now. It should be complete before the end of this month.

The FAQ page has now been updated. It's even easier for you to use my images freely now.

I have decided to slow down the construction of this site for a while now. My university will start again soon, and I need to prepare myself.

The first page of the Extrasolar planets is up. I will be attempting to have the entire section (which will contain information not only about extrasolar planets discovered, but also about methods used to find them and missions to find new habitable, planets) finished before 1st of Aug.


9th July, 2005:
A new image was added to the Earth page. It is an illustration of the giant impact which in turn created the moon.

Gallery updates


21st Mar, 2006
Due to a great demand from the public, I have completed a larger version of Earth Impact II. It is available in sizes up to 5000 x 3000 pixels and 300 dpi. The applicant will have to state a valid reason to be granted access to the larger version.

The completion of the next chapter: Galaxies will be delayed indefinitely.


18th Feb, 2006
I have initiated the work on the next chapter: Galaxies. I have finished writing the articles about Hubble's galaxy classification and supermassive black holes. I have also added an illustration of milky way's barred core. I am planning on finishing this chapter by the end of this month.

The binary starsystems page has been been completed. The final image which was added is a depiction of Beta Lyrae - or Sheilak.

After a long break, I have updated the binary starsystems page once again. This time I have added an image of the starsystem Rigel - Beta Orionis.

A new page has been uploaded, which features some famous binary starsystems. At the moment only one illustration is present on the page, but more are to follow in the next few days.

Due to lack of excessive and detailed information about different kinds of binary starsystems, I have compiled one long page with information about them. It can be found here: Different kinds of binaries. Illustrations will be available soon.

I have added a new image to the extrasolar terrestrial planets.

The first page of the binary starsystems chapter: x-ray binaries is now complete. I have decided to merge a few pages which were originally planned to be a part of that chapter.

The Extrasolar planets chapter is now complete. The latest additions are Extrasolar terrestrial planets and Extrasolar missions.

A new version of Nova Celestia is up and running. The first part, The Solar System is now complete!

I had a hardware failure. The content of the gallery (Jupiter) was partly injured and my graphic card CPU fan broke down.

I have been granted a membership in the prestigeous international associa-
tion of astronomical artists, The IAAA. Frank Hettick was kind enough to recommend me!
