Doppler Shift: When a light wave comes closer it becomes slightly bluer (shorter wavelength) and when a light wave becomes more distant it appears redder (longer wavelength). The same phenomenon can be heard by sound (ever heard an ambulance approaching?). This phenomenon is called the 'Doppler Shift'.

Double star: A system of two stars orbiting each other. The term 'binary star' is more common for this kind of systems.

Dust: Small particles which can be found in between the stars. Link: nebulae.
